The Weeneebayko Health Ahtuskaywin is seeking candidates for the position of DIETITIAN / NUTRITIONIST at the Weeneebayko General Hospital, a fully accredited 37 bed facility. Under the general supervision of the Manager of Clinical Support Services you will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of nutritional care programs for the inpatients, outpatients in the Mushkegowuk Territory; medical and nursing staff based on the College of Dietitians standards of practice. You will also be responsible for managing the Nutrition Services Department.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition or Food Science
• Accredited Dietitians of Canada Dietetic Internship Program
• Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario (or eligible for membership)
• Knowledge and respect of Aboriginal Culture and experience in working effectively with First Nations people is an asset
• English is essential for this position
• Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset.
