The Human Resources department provides a leadership role in the arrangement of the vision, mission and strategic plan by ensuring that competent human resources are available to the organization on a timely basis. The department works closely with all managers to develop and implement policies, practices and procedures grounded in research with the goal of continually improving the quality of work life and quality of patient care.
Integrated with the James Bay General Hospital, the Human Resources department provides support to both organizations in all matters related to employees, including pre and post employment support, employee support during the employment period and advice and assistance in labour relations, negotiations, consultation and management support.
